Clarification on Rules reporting

The deadline for annual reporting on the Drinking Water Quality Assurance Rules is 2 March 2026, or 40 working days from 31 December 2025. Our February stakeholder newsletter incorrectly reported this date as 25 February 2026.

If you are a drinking water supplier in an emergency

If there is an immediate risk of serious illness or death arising from your drinking water supply and the situation can’t be immediately controlled, or you need to discuss an urgent matter outside of office hours (Monday to Friday 8am–5pm), contact the Water Services Authority - Taumata Arowai by calling  0800 454 717.
