Contacting us over the holiday period

Important information for drinking water suppliers and laboratories over the holiday period. 

Our offices will be closed from Friday 20 December 2024, until Monday 6 January 2025.  

During this time, our on-call staff will only respond to urgent notifications of drinking water supply issues. All other notifications sent to The Water Services Authority - Taumata Arowai will be addressed in the new year.

If there is an imminent risk of serious illness or death arising from your drinking water supply or if you are feeling out of your depth and concerned about your supply, call us.

Continue to notify us through Hinekōrako or the notification form on our website 

To keep our communities safe over the summer break, you’re still required to notify us if you have any reason to think your drinking water may not be safe or not meeting standards. Our on-call staff will be monitoring Hinekōrakooutbound for urgent notifications that need immediate action from us.
