Infrastructure Design Solutions

We are tasked with developing infrastructure design solutions for wastewater networks. This is a new tool added to the Water Services Act 2021 to complement environmental performance standards. While infrastructure design solutions do not contain mandatory requirements, they can contain technical performance standards, treatment processes, and design and operating requirements for stormwater networks.

Where wastewater infrastructure complies with an infrastructure design solution, it is deemed to comply with the relevant environmental performance standard.
