Water services insights and performance
Each year we produce two reports that provide an overview of the performance of drinking water, wastewater and stormwater networks in New Zealand.
Network Environmental Performance Report 2024/25
The Network Environmental Performance Report 2024/25 (NEPR) includes data and information for the period 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 provided by operators of publicly owned drinking water networks and wastewater networks, as well as some information about urban stormwater networks.
The NEPR provides insights into the environmental performance and impact of water services networks.
Drinking Water Regulation Report 2024
The Drinking Water Regulation Report 2024 covers the period 1 January to 31 December 2024. It includes data provided by drinking water suppliers about the safety and sufficiency of the water they supply from their registered drinking water supplies.
We aim to publish the Drinking Water Regulation Report 2025 in late September.
